Poetry submitted by Carol on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 8:17AM : To My Twin Michael Our Journey together began at the miracle of conception. Twins we would be, you and me. On the glorious day of our birth it was you who got to see the world first. All our lives the joke would be that I would have been first, had I not been so busy taking care of me. Fore, I had to blow-dry my hair and put on my face, before I would see anyone face to face. As children we fought as all siblings do...but we had a bond, a bond of two, that only as twins we shared. As our lives moved on, I watched you grow into a man who was proud of whom he was. You made may accomplishments which made us all proud. You had a bright future and dreams to pursue and then the demons, we did not see, consumed the gentle spirit inside of thee. They may you choose the road to your journey's end. We've lost a Son, a Brother, an Uncle, a Nephew, a Cousin and Friend. I'm sorry those demons would not let you see all the lives you affected tremendously. You touched the hearts of many and brightened there worlds. Now every day for the rest of our lives, we will shed tears for the loss of your life. It is not only my life shattered and crushed, but all those who loved you so very much. Our hearts are all broken and will not mend until such time we meet again. The only peace inside of me is knowing you're in a better place with our sister Linda and Daddy. I love you Micheal.
