Send a Sign

Please send some sort of sign
A sign to show me that you’re near
Isn’t there a divine tie line
To let me know when you’re here

Please send some sort of sign
A sign I could actually grasp
One sign that you’re now fine
I’m sorry, I keep having to ask

Please send some sort of sign
A sign that will let me know
Why you made up your mind
Why you felt you had to go

Please send some sort of sign
A sign or even a good clue
Why you felt you must resign
From the precious life you knew

Please send some sort of sign
A sign to let me know you’re ok
I really don’t mean to whine
I just need to be with you today
