We are not like the rest
how many steps again in the grieving process?
society must have come a long way
to actually bury you in a cemetary
you could have been placed under train tracks
like the old days
forbidden from church grounds
We are not like the rest
suicidal tendencies increase 10 fold
some they finger triggers
others rather swallow pills
or knot themselves to death
We are not like the rest
her husband walked into a garbage truck on the highway
I wonder if he saw stars
my man put a knife through his own heart
I wonder if it fell apart
We are not like the rest
we are survivors no less
was this an honorable way to die
were you some warrior of the samurai?
what small minds we have
shame on all of you
shame on my part too.
We are not like the rest
simple minded at best
carrying on with rocks in our chests
