Pity Party

I am holding a pity party
And you are invited.
Because I looked up the word
And now I am excited!

It says that it means compassion
For suffering or one who suffers
And you all have that for me
In my life you are the buffers!

You help me bounce back
When the hard times come
And I help you get on track
Until your crying is done.

So I am holding a pity party
For the people I have met here
A social gathering for Survivors
To talk about those we hold dear.

I have decided I will no longer feel guilt
When I come to this site to vent
Because I learned the true meaning
And besides…I pay rent!! :)

I hope you come to my party
It is fun and will last all night!
It will be filled with laughter, joy and tears,
And cyber hugs with great might!

So when you think your dumping
Your troubles on some else,
Remember they come to the party
Because they’ve been their themselves.

So put on the face your wearing
It matters not how you look
And come to the pity party
When you are never forsook.
