Tears Fall

Tears fall down
Without a sound
Tears fall alone
To gather again
In a pool below
Tears fall silently
From eyes that burn
Swollen by tears
That fall down
Without end
Forever falling
Grieving loss
Or for no reason
Tears fall down
And I let them fall
Longing for relief
From the pain
From the anguish
From the disbelief
From the loss
And they continue
To fall like you fell
But they don’t die
They are forever
These tears of mine
They fall down
They haunt me
They free me
They enrage me
These tears that fall
Fall down my face
And onto my desk
Pooling together
Meeting to talk
About the loss
That I cry for
Forever falling
Without a sound
Falling like you fell.
