My heart still searches for the touch of your spirit...
telling me you are with us still
looking down from up above
watching over us all.

My heart cries out
for comfort in my soul;
assurance that now all is well
I can let my anger go.

I wake sometimes forgetful
of the knowledge with which we live.
You chose to go before us,
your face now forever hid.

I wake expecting to find you...
only to cry again.
