I will meet you Tuesday unless the bridge crumbles. And if it does and if one dies, one will be remembered for a while and then will be forgotten. But if one has been loved, that's enough. "There is the land of the living and a land of the dead and the bridge is love, the only survival, the only meaning." from Thornton Wilder's The Bridge at San Luis Rey

Mary Agnes Clark

My darling precious Mary...I miss you and long to talk with you. My tears will never stop since your death. My heart is broken. But you are mine through all the eternities.. my treasure, my ballerina, my nurse, my musician who conquered playing the "Moonlight Sonata" on the piano, my sounding board, my confidante, my pride, my risk taker, my perfectionist, my first born daughter. Thank you for sharing your whirlwind earthly days with me. What a brave battle you fought against manic-depression all of your adult days. Now you are free from this devistating, demoralizing, and painfully misunderstood brain disorder. I know "It wasn't Mary who killed Mary, it was the illness that killed Mary". I only wish you could have stayed. Love forever, Mom
